Block B - JW Marriott Tampa

JW Marriott hotel inaugured its 100th property in the heart of Downtown Tampa, just in time for Super Bowl LV 55th edition. Expecting to accommodate a large part of the assistants for the event, it is one of the most outstanding buildings on the newest Water Street development.  Componenti provided more than 14,000 SF of laminated wood-aluminum siding system for the amenities and lobby façade, more than 5,000 SF of aluminum click vertical system for the building façade, more than 3,000 SF of trellises exterior sunshades throughout the hotel, more than 6,000 SF of decorative laminated wood aluminum trellises and ceilings for the main entrance, and a motorized trellis over 1,000 SF for the rooftop bar and lounge. These systems are aluminum architectural components intended to beautify the façade of the hotel and its amenities areas, pleasing the hotel guests with its shapes, colors and finishes. The siding system is thoughtfully located to accentuate the dimensions of the amenities, restaurants, pool, and main entry of the hotel. The aluminum click system complements the curtain wall system on the façade, serving as vertical divisions around the façade. To endure the brightness and heat of the sunshine state, Componenti provided trellises sunshades on the exterior areas from 1st to 27th level; a motorized trellis was installed over the rooftop bar to block rain and allow natural light when needed. Componenti and ES Metals are proud of being part of this project, and having contributed to the embellishment of Downtown Tampa.
